Program Options
BPCP is open to children ages 33 months through 5 years.
Children must be potty trained by the start of school.
Our program is open from September through mid-May, following the Minneapolis Public Schools calendar.
Classes are held from 9am-12pm, Monday through Friday.
There is an extended day option from 12pm-2pm W/Th/F only
Two-day options (M/T), three-day options (W/Th/F), and five-day schedules are available.
The consent of the teachers is required to exceed a three-day schedule for children under age 4.
Classes are no larger than 15 students per day and are staffed by two teachers and one teacher helper.

Tuition
Bright Prospects Cooperative Preschool strives to be welcoming to all, regardless of their financial situation. In order to make Bright Prospects more accessible, we use a sliding scale fee structure where members choose a monthly payment level that reflects their income, assets, and privilege. The scale is listed below (subject to change).

We invite families to assess their own assets, income and privilege in determining how to support the school financially. You can find a guide for how to assess this using this tool by provided by Ride Free Fearless Money.
Regardless of how much you pay, you are still required to follow the Parent Involvement guidelines outlined below.
Tuition is due by the first of each month.
Parent Involvement
Parents/guardians of students at BPCP take an active role in the education of their children. They volunteer in the classroom once a month, attend monthly membership meetings, and serve on committees to support the school. Parent involvement helps keep BPCP affordable and makes our community responsive to student needs.

Prospective families: We accept applications throughout the year with priority given to those received by February 1 for the following fall.
Returning families: Please apply by January 1 for the following school year. Applications are accepted starting December 1.
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Our wait list does not roll over from year to year. Families need to submit a new application if they were on the waiting list for the previous year and would like to enroll the following year.
